Views From Maui & Lanai-i

Yes we're back to Maui for a second year in a row. This is such a beautiful island. This year we are hanging with our friends Jenifer & Loyd at Puamana Resort. in Lahaina. Here's just a few pictures of the beauty of Maui. We did take the ferry over to Lanai-i for a day of sightseeing.

Skiing at Sunrise Ski Park in the White Mountains

What a beautiful ski area. Chuck, Sharilyn, Jessie and I headed off to the White Mountains of Arizona for a week of skiing. We stayed at the Worldmark Timeshare condos in Pinetop. Although it was crowded on the weekend (MLK birthday), we had a great time. Mid week skiing was perfect. We had the resort to ourselves. Perfectly groomed slopes and no one around to dodge.

Welcome to the family Jackson Daine Cook

Today at 1:34 pm Nate and Jen gave birth to the latest member of the family, Jackson Daine Cook. Weighing in @ 7 lbs. 15 oz. What a beautiful boy he is.

October in San Antonio and Galveston

We left Green Valley Tuesday Oct. 9th and headed east on I-10 to San Antonio and Galveston. First night we pulled into Van Horn KOA after a eight hour drive. Day two thru day four we stayed at San Antonio KOA. This park is a real nice RV park close to down town. We're finding a lot to do  in San Antonio. Definately going to have to come back and spend a lot more time. We are finding the humidity is very high. Kind of reminds us of Charleston in August. We'll be moving on to Galveston on Saturday. Will be staying at the Jamaica Beach RV Park along the Gulf Coast.

Day two in San Antonio included breakfast at the Guenther House , touring San Antonio missions, lunch on the River Walk and a boat tour through the streets of San Antonio. Heading out Saturday morning for Galveston.
